Dear all

My name is Liz Winburn and I am part of the Autism Research Team at
Newcastle University headed by Professor Ann Le Couteur.

I am writing to encourage parents of preschool and primary school aged
children with autism spectrum disorders to take part in our online
survey, PADIA. This stands for Parents' and Professionals' Attitudes to
Dietary Interventions in Autism.

The survey is an important part of preparing for a large-scale trial of
the gluten free casein free diet in autism, funded by Autism Speaks. We
are really interested to find out parents' experience, attitudes and
beliefs regarding dietary interventions in autism, and about autism
research more generally. It is a golden opportunity to give us your
opinions!

Parents can access the online version survey by following this link:

http://www.ncl.ac.uk/cargo-ne/PADIA.html

or can request a postal copy by ringing Jenna Charlton on 0191 282 1379.

Finally, using the attached information, we would be very grateful if
you are able to help us in any of the following ways:

*	Displaying information about the survey
*	Giving out handouts at support group meetings
*	Placing an advert for the survey in your newsletter
*	Telling other parents about the survey, either in person or by
forwarding this email

On behalf of the team, thank you very much for your support, and please
do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

Best wishes

Liz
